SAMUI WOULD BE MY CHIOCE..........
A VERY NICE PLACE TO RELAX AND HAVE A NICE PEACEFUL TIME.........
KRABI WOULD BE CHEAPER THOUGH........BUT NOT AS NICE..

Thanks for you quick reply.
I've been to Samui already and doesn't like Samui for two reasons the accomodation(concrete walls between the hotels not engouh space and the hotels facilities lack of fitness club and big swimming pool ) and the sea lice we found in the beach.
Do you anything about Krabi? Is there any big difference betw Samui and Krabi ?
Cheers

krabi is very small and there is not that much to do really unless you like to go on boat trips. the beach is beautiful though and it has a little night life. not very good if you want to stay for a week. better to go for 2-3 nights. sumui is much more lively and has a younger crowed as we all know. there is good night life in my opinion, and there is lot's to do, there a more BG'S in sumui too, the beachs in sumui are better then krabi but more busy. when it comes to hotels i don't really know to much as we always rent out the bungalows, which are very basic anyway. i think if you wanna stay more then 2-3 nights then go to sumui, or go to both.

Thanks Louis.
It's a good idea but during that period Samui would be very crowded and the prices will go higher. Will think about it.
Nightlife is not our main purpose. OUr preference:subathing, relaxing, sightseeing and shopping.

I visited Krabi and the main beach was crap! I personally would not like to swim there and didn't. I assume the islands off Krabi are much better.

**edit**

I stayed in the main tourist area, and im talking about Ao Nang Beach. Guess You need to venture further a field to find the good ones.

Bangkok air fly that route.. How about you look on the BKK air website for the dates your thinking of..

Yes there are 2 gogo's on Samui.. Bit over priced and not up to bkk or pattaya standards.. One at the left hand entrance to Soi Green Mango and one farther down into the soi and round the loop.

Theres plenty of BG down in both Lamai (my prefered area) or Chaweng.. But they are not in general as high a standard of looks as bkk and patts but they are usually very friendly and more GFE type experience I feel..

For the lookers there seems like quite a bit of competition and the tourists there tend to the younger side also.. Hard to say as I have never been to Samui without wife or GF..

All in all like Samui but I am not a fan of Chaweng.. Some great little spots round the island though..

Of course I know where is Trat.
The hotels and the place is not our choice.
Would prefer Phuket and the connection flights time is not the best. (two days only for travelling).
