Samui/Phangan Travel in November

I'm planning on traveling to LOS in November and wondering if it is even worth it to travel to Samui/Phangan around this time? I know it rains a hell of a lot during this time.

I was on Samui middle of last November for 10 days with only one days rain.
However it's supposed to rain a lot in november as the locals told me. Seems the rains came in December last year when it's usually dry; and on 25 November the rain was so heavy the airport was closed. Judging by comments about the weather in other threads it's getting harder to predict throughout Thailand so my advice would be do go to Samui but be prepared to either not go or to leave quickly depending on the weather at the time so don't book a hotel in advance or you could be stuck.

yep id say the weather pattern was abit fecked up last year, but what do i know.
november is the wettest month of the year over samui way,but it all seem to come late last year, with december getting the brunt of it.
same as patong, december was bad also for rain.probably due to the lack of rain in the 'rainy/wet season'.
best thing to do is just check the 5 day forecast before u go,might get lucky.

Thanks guys,

November is the only time I can travel for 3 weeks before I lose my vacation this year. I will definitely keep my travel plans flexible.
