Airport transfer

What are the choices like at the airport for transfers to a hotel???

Hope to be staying at chaweng beach and it will be a couple days before new years so I guess it could be busy.

It does advise on sawadee to have your hotel arrange a pick up or book it online with them, but I thought I would see what info I could find out on here.

would be a huge advantage if you had a transfer to your hotel, many hotels can organise this be sure to enquire before booking. Otherwise there there should be some mini bus's there to take but could take a while as they usually only leave once they have a full load. Be careful for being ripped off by all the freelance taxi/limo drivers.

I normally take a minivan. because many planes land at samui a minivan is quickly full and leaves. never had any problems.

Stay away from the private taxi stuff because it's to expensive.

at arrivals there is a stand for buying minivan tickets right next to collecting your bags
