Has anyone been over the west coast of the island? Are there hidden gems and stunning beaches by any chance?

I'm going to Samui for the first time at Christmas so any info on places to go, people to see would also be appreciated

Never been to Samui but am thinking about going next trip. Will cut down the visit to Phuket though and I'm not to happy about that...

Not much on the West Coast here, the North has some nice beaches though.

Lipa Noi beach on the west coast just past Nathon has quite a few upmarket resorts and a good beach. I'ts the best place for watching the sunset.

Best beach IMO on the Island is Coral Cove between Lamai and Cheweng.

Two of the best beaches on the island are in Lipa Noi and the one that runs by the 5 Islands Restaurant with beautiful views out to the 5 Islands
