Seems that things will be busy this Xmas; am trying to book a weekend on 27th and 28th December with flights from Phuket, seems they are all booked up almost and the two hotels I have tried are booked as well.

Will be busy.

I just had a quick look at Bangkok air and there were flights both ways on the days you mentioned. I'm sure there are hotels available also. What do you expect everything to be empty just waiting for you to call?

Not at all just saying it looks busy and should be fun when other places are saying that bookings are down, Mr Angry.

MD of 117 rooms, can tell you, solidly booked from Dec-Feb 27th, then Occ goes down to 95% for a few months.
News and events in BKK are not hurting bookings this year.
Also, THA Samui, expects an increase from last year, despite the low OCC at this presant time.
