Is there a cheap/clean beachfront hotel/bungalow on chaweng beach ?

Hello,
I'd like to spend some days in Koh Samui, in Chaweng.
I've never been there.
I'm going to go there with my wife and my 2yo daughter.

I'd like to find a beachfront bungalow/hotel, on Chaweng Beach
I'd like to be in the center, near shops and restaurants (I don't want to take any taxi to go there).

My budget is no more than 1500-1700 baht.

Do you have any tip ?

I stayed at The Island Resort. It is on Chaweng beach and is 5 mins from all the nightlife. It is basic , but comfortable with a nice pool area.

I've decided to stay at Nora Lakeview

Cheap & Budget Koh Samui Hotels-Nora Lakeview Hotel, Chaweng Beach Samui ,two star hotel & lodging located on Chaweng Beach,Koh Samui Thailand

I'll pay 1300 baht for a Deluxe room.
I's not directly on the beach (but it's however 3 minutes walk, it's behind beach road), but some friends of mine told to me that it's a good hotel with good rates, good quality in a good position, in central Chaweng.

I hope everything ok, it's my first time there and at Koh Samui.

If you go back, I recommend staying at Samui Lagoon Bay, Chaweng Beach.
It is very nice, affordable and best part...right on the beach.
Just thinking about it gets me excited to go back!
