Koh Samui and Tidal Waves???

Hey guy's, does anyone know if Koh Samui sufferred any destruction at the hands of the tidal waves yesterday? and if so was the damage bad....
Have been trying to find out, but not really much news regarding Samui maing phuket/phi phi

Look at a map, and you will understand why no one writes about the damage done on Samui....

I know where Samui is in relation to phuket, but thanks anyway for the info Tarzan, was just curious to see if the waves were isolated to the western side of the thailand peninsular or whether any of the waves had made it to the other side of thailand. Have recently read that it had not and mainly countries within the andaman sea affected....

No they were not affected as they were covered by phuket etc, The only way it could of reached them islands if it completely covered phuket which thankfully didnt even come close to happening...
