Lamai Inn 99 - result of my research

Hi Aussi,

Lamai Inn 99 is on my list of the favorite accomodations too. Anywhere in the board I read that it seems to be girl friendly... just use the search in the board.

Concerning location, food, rooms etc. I already put a link in the thread "BG friendly joint", you can read the reviews and comments there.

I also found the comments and reviews NOT at a glance, so here my advice:

Go to www.sawadee.com , click on the tab "SAMUI" (top of the page) and then click on the link "Lamai Beach" in the category "where to stay". Scroll down and read the reviews.

I assume itīs almost 35 degree centigrade "Down Under" (in my small garden thereīs snow, but I live on the other side of the earth ), and itīs exhausting to move the mouse in a webpage So, special service from my part: klick here and just move the mousewheel Please, lift a FOSTER and just say "Cheers, Peter"

And check out the thread "Koh Samui / Koh Phangan in first quarter 2005" regularly (Dr_Groove was my former nickname). Iīll use it as a "linklist" for myself and this offers hopefully a benefit to all of you staying on those islands within the next time.

Beeing jealous of your summer, Peter (who likes snow only in skiing vacations )

Uups, forgot to say: 36 days to go

Lamai Inn booked via sawadee.com???

Hi Aussi, would be nice to know if booking Lamai Inn via sawadee.com (i assume that youīve done so) will need a FULL PAYMENT in advance too (like Ever Green in Chaweng), before you ever put a foot there. A deposit is ok, but full payment in advance is a little bit weird for me...

Enough cool fosters for you...

Full Payment in Advance ???

This it sais on MY reservation request (Iīll be there in march!):
---------------------------
Terms of payment:
1.Deposit 1,100 THAI BAHT until 26.01.05 to secure the booking.
2.Payment 3,550 THAI BAHT on 20.02.05
---------------------------
Tried out with Lamai Inn too... Iīll see tomorrow what happens.
BTW: No difference if booking via sawadee.com or with your link. "Thank you for using the R24 reservation system" it sais in both cases...

Thumbs up Lamai Inn 99

You can't go wrong with Lamai Inn 99. Very relaxed, very girl friendly. Right on the beach. Very clean rooms, with everything you need. Excellent value for money, compared with Chaweng anyway, where I find you pay twice as much.

Lamai Inn 99

Is my favorite Resort in Lamai. Stayed there for several nights (8 to 9 nights I think). A great green garden, pool, girl friendly, nice hot shower and wash room (on Koh Phangan they offered a 800 Baht Bungalow with AC, not TV, cold shower for 800 Baht, ok too, but much worse value for price). Know some friends who stay every time in lamai inn.... reservation highly recommended. Safe desposit unfortunately not in room.

1200 Baht in high season. But all comfort (Air Con with econ mode. I feel cold with 21 degree.... Iīm Farang in vacation, not Thai at work ;-) 800 Baht in Low season as far as I have in mind.
