Ok, no golf for me tomorrow (today) then. I think is highly likely to have rain tomorrow too, and I am better off finishing my accounting/auditing work for my company.

I heard SweetWilliam played during rain today at Loch Palm and still managed to get a decent score.

Oh yeah, it rained today at Loch Palm for a total of about 45 seconds. Loch Palm is in great shape too. Gotta play there again this Friday Morning at 7:30, and PCC old course again this Thuesday at 8:04 AM, and maybe go across the road for lunch, and do the PCC Country Club course at 3:30 for the Mai Thai Challenge. No golf on Wednesday since tonight is Tequila Tuesday and will need to recover all day Wednesday.
Payed ok today, hit some disgustingly long and streight drives off the tee, but sometimes followed it up with some horrendus apprach shots, and poor putting. Bah, uffda.
See ya

Hi everyone, I'm in Phuket now staying in Rawai. Would love to join for golf if anyone playing. Haven't brought my clubs but hoping can rent a set.

Is the Thursday challenge on this week? If so would it be possible to join? I'll probably play tomorrow morning also if anyone fancies a round.

Cheers.

Rental sets 700 to 1000 baht, wear trainers or can rent shoes. Thursday should be on because we didn't go today.

SW what sort of time in the day is 8.27???? or is this a golf term I'm not familiar with???

Khun Dom either meet us at Phuket golf and country club at 3pm, 9 hole course or will be at Nicke's at 2.30, where we can give you a lift.

Thanks Dodger, see you at Nicke's at 2:30pm. Do I need to book a tee time or do we just rock up?

Cheers.

Just turn up, this is one of the reasons we play the 9 hole course never any wait on the tee, the course is usually pretty empty.

Could've put this in the jokes section, but.....

Here is an actual sign posted at a golf club in Scottsdale , AZ:

1. BACK STRAIGHT, KNEES BENT, FEET SHOULDER WIDTH APART.
2. FORM A LOOSE GRIP.
3. KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN!
4. AVOID A QUICK BACK SWING.
5. STAY OUT OF THE WATER.
6. TRY NOT TO HIT ANYONE.
7. IF YOU ARE TAKING TOO LONG, LET OTHERS GO AHEAD OF YOU.
8. DON'T STAND DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF OTHERS.
9. QUIET PLEASE...WHILE OTHERS ARE PREPARING.
10. DON'T TAKE EXTRA STROKES.

WELL DONE. NOW, FLUSH THE URINAL, GO OUTSIDE, & TEE OFF.

Got in another 18 in today before the monsoon hit. Had a string of seven streight pars at Loch Palm. It would have been nine in a row if it weren't for a birdie. 37 on the front nine felt pretty damn good. Should be out and about on the courses(ok and the bars too :P) in late July I think.

Hello.

i `ve to agreee.

Have distort my thoracic vertebra 9/10 by hitting the 6 Iron into
the ground, repeatedly .

Was playing very good with my wood`s and the 5 iron. Then i
got the idea to practice at the range with the irons i don`t you use
often.

I am not this foolish, but i think as a beginner, it is very
important to know, that you can`t hit like Ben Hogan.

EVEN IF YOU TRY!!!

I was today at a chiropractioner and he get`s me fit for 90%.

If i had to play with Dodger in June, i want 3 for/per hole.

I havent played for a long time, but finally made it on friday. Scored par on 6th, 7th and 9th hole. Thats a good score for me. Started bad (with my drives going right) but solved it the later part of the course.

More height off tee, strieghter, and about 10-15 more yards. It has a 2 degree open face, so I sometimes hit a high cut.(Haven't figured out how to play right to left with any accuracy with this club yet)The tees Dodger gave me on my last visit are the perfect height for teeing it up. Still a hole in my game from about 30-70 yards from the pin. And my sand play is still pathetic. But putting is a big improvement lately.

Hey,

my first golf holiday in Los...

First, i was healthy again when i start to Los. I suffered from a
distorsion longtime.

In Koh Samui i tried out the Bophut Hills course. Not easy
to get there, because there is no real road and the taxidriver has to
be very carefull on the way.

It`s a 9 hole course, with rolling hills. The greens are sophisticated.
After hole 7 i was really tired from climbing and the heat
i just wasn`t used to.

Also from the beer and the ladies from last night.

There was not much going on, maybe because of the low season.

The holes are not long, so you can reach every green with a
iron 7 or 9, depending on your skill.

She was a sweety...

I payed 1000 Bath inclusive the caddyfee, i tipped her with 300 Baht
and she was quiet happy.

The nice thing is, that the other course (santibury) offers
also 9 hole to the nominell price from the bophut hp.

In Lamai there is a also a very nice driving range. It was not
far from my hotel, so i could keep my every 2nd day training
and i was not alone.

Lamai Driving Range

Arrived in Phuket, heading to Mai Thai speak with nicke and arranged
to go with my friends and nicke to Phuket Country Club on one of
the following days.

Wow, what an experience. I have lost 7 balls on the first 3 holes.
Nice thing is, that you arrive again on one hole at the kiosk
so you can buy some new.

I think i am the first who also lost his shoes, later in nickes car, but i could pick
it up at his home.

So we go back to country club and my game gets better. Not to compare
with nicke and friend, they can go par on some holes.

Great holiday for me, sorry that dodger couldn`t joined. Will be back again.

Thanks to nicke.

bad conscience

Hey,

Feel so bad conscience about my topic, nobody replays.
Think golf is so much funny,
and a great advantage, we really know, that we all love it.

Maybe i can make, even if i not deserve, a small update on me.

Got a German Pass (License) for golf know. My handycap is stated on it
for 34,3.

Can know play in germany on every course.

My last buy was a Titleist Lob Vokey 60/4.

After playing in Phuket i get achy to know i was much to confidence
about people i was playing with (not nicke!).

But i am addicted to golf and will play the game for rest of my life. And i
am glad to know, that when you get to LOS, no
matter how experience you are, you get your chance on the
course...
