MTB, no webcam running?
As I never been around this period of the year, I was hoping to see some wet board members at Mai Thai bar.
But I get the same image all the time for two days now.
Did the barman put the cam away for the water?

Soi Eric normally closes over Songkran, supposedly to let the girls go home to celebrate!

I dont think it does.. Just no guns allowed inside...
I am guessing they may have just started late or not turned on the PC..

I met a staff member from MTB last night in Tai Pan and she said MTB will be closed tonight. Best confirm this with Nicke though because I didn't actually recognize the girl from MTB although she was wearing a staff t-shirt.

So, the girl said the bar was closed! Did she get a tuk-tuk for you, to take you to a jewelery store or a tailor?

What are the chances my GF walks around in a MTB t-shirt in Taipan and someone who never met her is placing a disrespectful remark about her on this board, cause he thinks it's funny?
I would say the odds would be against you, but you did it.
... and what am I doing here answering your questions?

It will reopen in the afternoon, and they are so kind, to show you places meanwhile. A beautiful temple, or some other place. They specially arrange a Tuk-tuk for you, only 40 bath. It is just a rip-off (nothing is closed at all) to take you to tailor's and jewelry stores, where they have commission.
As MT bar is THE attraction of Patong.....
