I Take it some bars can make decent money
Im sure you dont want to discuss the finances here nor will I ask for it, but ive always seen comments here of people saying if you start a bar youll go broke in a year etc
I guess MTB is a good example to show that running a bar can work out?
I know there are other factors but im sure its encouraging for those considering it

There are other posts and threads on here telling you how and in what reasons that you can earn money from a bar. But unless YOU run it right it is a very difficult job! Just search for them or get lucky!
Now where was my bar manager interview!

Most people survive during the length of their contract, e.g. 3 years. The problem is to save money to cover for the keymoney they paid upfront, look like a lot of people fail and have to go back home whe the contract finish. And with keymoney going up all the time doesnt help either,

Running a bar(s) is primarily a lifestyle choice - if you enjoy the lifestyle and are not totally dependent upon the bar for your income then just maybe with some hard work it will turn out ok.

Thats true, health is another reason for giving up. One of my friends started his bar about same time as me, due to doctors recommendation he had to step down, he take 3 days off every week now.

I would say it is simple math. It depends on how much you drink really. The BF and what you would have drank had you stayed in the bar or she stayed there without you are a wash (in the LT or at least that is how it is supposed to be).
