I will be in Patong from the 3 September with the wife but need to escape now and again.

Are you still playing golf,Nicke and if so I would like to come along.Would I need to take my golf shoes or can you wear trainers

You can wear trainers, personally I'd bring your golf shoes, but flat soled trainers are acceptable and they do also hire out shoes.

Yes we still play every thursday afternoon, meet at Nicke's at 2.30pm for a 3pm tee time. If you are in Patong pm me and I'll be happy to give you a lift if you cannot get to Nicke's.

Always best to check in at Mai Thai bar the night before and arrange as some weeks (this week) somebody (me) thought Thursday was Tuesday and didn't go round Nicke's. So we played today instead.

although i really suck at golf , i really want to play again , cuz i really like it !
i believe i got 94 "points" last time [on a 9 hole course

but this was my 1st time , so i only can improve!

Dodger - Nicke,
I just started to play golf. As I most probably will come over to Patong with the GF, I would love to play some golf as well. By the time I come over, I will have 2 out of 3 courses you have to do here in Holland, before your get your official Dutch License with which you can play everywhere. However, after completing the 2nd course, I can play freelly on my home course.

Would I need such a license there, or can I just join you anyway?

No licence needed to play at Phuket Country Club where Nicke and Dodger play. Be warned though, it is not an easy course for beginners 555555

Yeah, unless you have a habit of getting really drunk and sleeping through until well after the supossed met time! Not that I have done this alot. Ahem!
