Found some pretty realistic Sig P226 BB Guns in Baghdad and had some fun keeping the cats from under the PortaKabins (Noisy B'stards at night they are) Unfortunately, we were issued with the P226 and I know it's about 3lbs heavier than a BB gun but it was just an accident waiting to happen.

A mars bar in the mag housing is different! Must be an Infantry thang!
Was chatting with someone at Dingo's the other day about 'tarting' up an AK. Can't remember his name but he is a BM apparently! I found the picture of the one a mate had in Iraq so will post it here. Most of the 'gadgets' came with him from a contract in the Ukraine and the other stuff he found in Ilak. Anyway, if he is out there lurking, I've attached the piccie!
I liked the M4 bushmaster with a simple red dot on top. It was a bit like me - Light, agile, slick and good looking.
The coffee and ciggies are my breakfast, a healthy start to any day..........Viceroy, smoke of champions................Cough!

gun noob
I have never even held a gun and was thinking of taking this opportunity to try one out. Are these real?..sorry dumb question. What entails one to go to range?...price, do they supply the weaponry? Thanks for info.

Go for it MadNomad. I was in the same situation as you having never held a real weapon. Arrange it with Nicke in the bar and its well worth the experience.
I think the 9mm pistol was the chosen gun (all guns and ammo supplied)and you get a magazine at the bulls eye target, then outside to aim at the knock down targets.
Depends on how many rounds you want to fire off, but its less than 2k baht for a good couple of hours fun.
