Singha Light

Singha Light has been sold out for 2 weeks or so now and is almost impossible to get hold of. It is just delivery problems or did they cancel it?

I have however been lucky and got 10 more cases from my "secret supplier", and will get 10 more next week.

A bit late for me now Nicke.

Should I tell everyone the story, bout when I ordered one at your bar the other week....only to be told there was none left....I had a Tiger instead.
You were sitting beside me & I offered to buy you a beer.......THEN SUDDENLY A SINGHA LITE APPEARS. (yes it was a can...I'm not a big fan of canned beer, so felt that was ok)
Next beer arrives for you & IT'S A BOTTLE OF SINGHA LITE.

What was your excuse??........I have some, but for personal supply only.....Only about 20 bottles.

So much for the "customer comes first" 555555555555555555555555

I don't think I've found any Singha Lites outside of Phuket anyways.
I've asked in BKK & in Patts without any luck.

Hey Nicke, We are still getting it here in the states, but so far I've only been able to get it on the air force base here, I hope they keep making it as everyone I know seems to like it.

Our last visit on the base we were told the same thing sold out....again no one has said its not being made..seems popular...I'm still drinking tigers due to easy to get here at the local market.

Is it just me or does this happen every February? Cos last year it was the same.

YEah the cans! You pay the same for a can as you do for a bottle, but there is less in a can and it tastes like metal!

Off topic a bit..... Was in a small local market on Saturday. While I was buying some wine, I saw a bottle of Singha gold. How many years ago did they stop making that? So I checked the sell by dates before purchasing a thing.

You can get it in Kamamamamalalalaland!

Only joking, you can't, that's why I have been on the samsong cokes since 1030 when I got a bit bloated on the old Tiger beer and am totally pissed.

Brilliant. Love Spaniards me.

Put some small grains of sand in it, have a couple of rats have a pee around the neck of the bottle, add the odd mosquito and a slice of Pappaya and hey presto!

Justa lika it's bloody served at Bobs Bar!

This is quite the build up for Singha Lite. I have got to try this stuff! It will be great to have a nice diet beer in LOS so I don't get too fat drinking beer for many hours a day.
Hope it is back in stock for April

Found out last trip that Singha Light has the same alcohol concentration as the standard Singha beer.

Which beers are available in MTB / LOS with lower alcohol percentage?

I like to drink beer, but I don't like to be too intoxicated ... and on long nights out in LOS it is hard when the beers are strong.
Sometimes I alternate between a bottle of water and a beer ... kinda boring though.

Eh? Singha Light is 3.5%. most normal beers 5.0% or more. Chang Light is 4.2%, not available in MTB thought.

Guess I am wrong.
Someone pointed that out to me and I thought I read 5% on a Singha Light ... see what just a little beer can do!
... could it be that San Miguel Light is 5%, I drink those once in a while too?

At least you are getting SIngha in USA, i cant hardly find Singha in KL, only on certain occasions and from the top end super markets like Isetan, and the Singha we get is the 6% Export Only Can.

Pretty expensive also. > 70 Baht a can

The Thai market in Thai town here supplies Singha, Sing Light, Beer Lao, Tiger and Phuket beer. They finally started carrying Beer Chang a couple months ago. Now all is right with the world.

That's nice.

Just a bit weird that being a neighbouring country, Singha is so hard to get here.

Wonder if there's a Thai Town in KL.
