Thai Pop Song stuck in my head.

Hi,

I spent many hours at MTB last week, i'm missing LOS like crazy.

There's a song that was played every single night, at least twice. All the girls went crazy and sang along everytime it came on. I don't have a clue what any of the words were and i've tried some youtube searches with no luck.

I can't get it's clippety cloppety beat out of my head, anyone got suggestions of what it might be?

Cheers
GG

Maybe Carabao? It´s a thaiband with a male singer but one of the most popular songs is one where a girl (sao Pan) sing aswell. They play this song every nite in Soi Eric.

Try to Google something like Carabao+Num Bao Sao Pan and u´ll find more about it.

Did the song have a word that sounded something like...............
"Banoot Banoot......" ????
That song got stuck in my head when I was there a few weeks ago.
The girls loved it when it was played.

That wasn't the one i was thinking of, but i definitely heard it a few times!

The one i was thinking of had a lot faster underlying beat than that... i can barely remember it now, seems like a lifetime ago.

Probably a long shot but it wouldn't be this song, would it? It was played at MTB when i was there in July last year and all the girls were right into it.

YouTube - หัว ไหล่ ตูด - Maf

You can try a search for "mameaw" or "china dolls" on youtube, maybe it was something like that you heard?

Or was it this one: YouTube - Teriyaki boys -Tokyo drift

I'm always amused by these kind of threads;-)

The last one was asking about beep beep beep tuut tuut tuut ...finally they discovered what it was and I didn't like it at all hearing it on youtube from home...until I got to Tiger myself and heard it live ...it's the holiday spirit which makes these songs worthwhile;-)

I like that new Thai Bob Marley-a-likey one doing the rounds at the moment.

Think it's called 'Job to Do'

Along the lines of " Job, Job, Job to do.........Doop Doop Doobedy Do!

Anyway, It's catchy and the girlies like it and if they wiggle I like that too!

............or it could be called something else.................I dunno!

Looks more like a 14 years average Japanese Girl Band to me.
Hardly likely that's what the OP was after hearing at MTB.

On the other side, there haven't really been given any useful clues either so far.

That one will go into the MTB top 10 Nirvana I'm afraid;-)

Guess this is the one?
YouTube - job 2 do - doo doo doo
Job 2 Do is the name of the band, and the song is "Do Ta Tam"..
Definately not any girls singing in this one,but I`ve seen a few cover versions with some young girls...
The song "Lai King" from the same album(No War) is played quite often as well and is worth checking out

Yeah,,,first post on the forum..not shore if I managed do make the link correct..?

mmmhhh...very relaxed music....just good there's some Thai subtitled, otherwise I wouldn't have a clue what's he's on about;-)

Without joke, I actually loved it, especially the short guitar solo.....
