Will someone wipe the vaseline off the web cam lens, can't hardly see a thing.
Any one know what position number that must have been??

I did clean the webcam today, but the focus is a bit off due to my cleaning, so I will try to adjust the focal ring tomorrow.

I dont know if the cleaning was good or not, but I think its should be OK when the focal (focus) ring is adjusted. If not, I will buy a new camera.

The problems started when I bought a new TV and the whiskey cabinet had to be rebuilt, I saw today the housing was not closed 100% and I think the fan inside has no power/electric connected to keep the humidity out.

I don't mind it being out of focus. It is kinda torture seeing it sometimes. When I am with in a month of returning it is enjoyable to watch.

When I see it I am like "look there's ..."

I remember when you bought the current one, back a few years ago, I believe. Anyway, when you first got it, the picture was great.

I remember, before my 1st trip, watching the webcam at work with a coworker. "Hey! Come here and see where i'm going." The bar was packed and everyone was having a ball. Then me and my coworker yelled out "Whoa! 5555". Some punter snuck up on a BG from behind and proceeded to cup both noms with his pestering hands. 55555

You really need to fix the camera.

Good Nicke...when you get live streaming, remember my suggestion about adding a credit card check out so the boys from home can ring the bell....actually wasn't my suggestion, it was Steve's, but he said if you did it (flat charge of 1000 baht) he would be happy to ring the bell from time to time. You just have to work out the details of the ringers name in lights and toasting his generous actions so he can watch from home and get that warm fuzzy feeling....555555... Just think of the possibilities for new revenue.

I have got the new webcam and its excellent picture quality.

However, it doesnt support ftp upload so I need to change my internet connection to a one that gives me my own IP. I will talk to TT&T tomorrow.

I will do some testing with 640x480, see how fast I can make it streaming, if too slow, I guess 320x240 is better.

I will have 1 mbit upload with my new internet connection, should be enough for pretty good streaming.
