Tee Rac updates

As most of you know by now, my dear tee rac , is spending some time with me in the UK,
so as she is busy doing cooking or her nails etc, i have 5 mins free to up date you all.
The Embassy and arranging the visa took a lot more work than i first thought (so much red tape)when we first starting thinking about her coming here,
but now she is has been here nearly a week and i guess the change in climate has struck quite early ,add jet lag etc and it makes quite a cocktail.
so much so that she spent all yesterday in bed sneezing her head off.
Any how tonight we went for a walk round the shopping mall,her only comment was that farang ladies pay to much for clothes(i wonder how long that attitude will keep for)
she asked me to show her the web cam ,and was very amused at it even more so when we called Nicke and the girls .in fact what was funny was while she was talking to you guys she was waving at the p.c monitor .
another thing that has given me some mild amusement was the look on her face when i drank a glass of water straight from the tap .
i think also the fact the that it is still day light at gone eight in the evening is some what strange for her.
Farang food is not going down to well, so we either now cook two diferent style meals or we just adapt the one we have cooked ,for example chilli con carne but Thai style = very bloody hot and lots more chillies and pee sauce.
well we have a couple of parties to go in the next couple of weeks and i can not wait to take her in to the city for a night out on the lash.
when i have some descent pics i will of course share them with you .

If you have the time some day I would really appreciate it if you could give me the lowdown on how to obtain the visa and cut through that red tape.

I have a lady in pattaya who I now regard as a very good mate (truthfully)
and I would like to bring her here someday, I know she would like to visit england as she has mentioned it on several occasions and it would be so much better of one day I could get her on the plane with me instead of saying goodbye at Don Muang each time.

I am really happy for you ETV but also a teensy bit envious

Im planning to be back in scotland with the wife on 10th June. I dont envisage any problems with visa as she got one last summer

It is better to go in person, put your application in and pick up your visa later that day. This only really applies to people who have had a visa before

Other than that the normal process is to go in person and its likely the applicant will be called for an interview

Dont what you had to go through Ian but it would be interesting to know, also if that list of questions I gat to your GF was helpful

I am also curious about the visa process, I know a lot how Sweden or other Schengen countries work, but England is slightly different and so many people are turned down. So I have to say you are lucky, most people I know who tried did not manage to get it.

i have had quite a response from people asking about visa`s etc so rather than replying to every one , i hope this helps you all .
ok to start with it is worth looking at this web site http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/
in short though it is best to each make a folder to present to the embassy.
which goes like this
1. letter of invite ,accomodation and sponsorship
2.proof of contact, letters ,emails shopping reciepts etc
3.proof of contact ,phone bills landline ,mobile,sms any think that shows you have constant regular contact.
5.employment details ,how long you have worked at your work ,p60 for a at least two years, at least six months wage slips,selfemployed details ,anything that shows your worth
6. ability to finance basically savings ,income and what ever assests you may have to show your worth.if you have sent money show proof
7.photos of you together (pref not in bars)lots of smiles together,you and her with members of family helps a lot,old passports ,flight boarding passes,all her certificates translated into english (i.e birth for both her and her of spring,if she is a widow that translated as well, the house book ,any thing you think might help you .


then you join the que outside the ebmassy at about 5 in the morningas the que does get very very very long and they only process i think 70 applications a day.

cheers mate,you covered everything i had submitted anyway,the only thing i didnt do was get the house book,guarantee and birth certificate translated,i submitted copies of them and told her to take the originals to an interview.i just wanna speak about the interview itself mate.

You must be happy now, lucky guy !

I remember when a TG made her first trip outside LOS to meet a friend in Paris ... God! We were 2 to help her on phone while she was waiting for her plane at BKK airport, she said she had to go to toilet every 10 minutes, and when finally she landed on Paris, she was like a little girl, hoding the hand of a stewart till the arrival hall. Really touching, I had tears in my eyes for them, as I had have involved in this trip (too long story here)

After one month, I have met them in Paris and we have had great time. He he he, she was the boss (as she said) in Patong, but so cute and innoncent in anoter country.

I don't hear so much from them now, I just know both of them live in LOS now and they got married. Happy story, and I wish you the same
