Internet in MTB
Hi.
Havn't moved to Patong yet, but will in february or march. I have learned a lot from these pages, and I thank all of you. Anyway - is there wireless internet in the MTB? If there is, at what speed? I am SO dependant on having internet available to me at most times, and what could be better than sitting and working with a cold one next to you? If there isn't, is it on its way? If it's not on the way, is there some way to arrange for it to be on its way? I know I am stressing this internet bit a lot, but hey - I have to...
Another thing: All of you use so many strange words like farang, TG, MTB, LOS and so on - what does they all mean??? Being a newbie and all, I think I should get the vocabulary in right away...

Yes Nicke runs a wifi hotspot..
IIRC he uses 512/256 internet but real speeds I cant tell you.. Also Nicke's bar is in a nightlife soi and is a fairly party environment.. Not the kind of place to get much work done..
Search a thread on the forum (try abbreviations TLA's anacronyms etc) as there is a list of all the abbreviations we use.

If you would have work done I guess between 20-22 is a good time, as it is pretty quiet during that time.

Try a search as this has been discussed numerous times, with one thread not all that long ago.
