MTB hours
I have only been to Phuket once and to best of my memory (which is shorter than my pecker) I haven't been to MTB. I assume it normally opens about 9pm but what about opening time on New Years Eve. Same same?

Ive been there loads of times but hell if I know when it opens, but I think 8pm if I'm not mistaken
8pm also happen to be about the time I try to figure out wether to eat before I start drinking or not...sometimes I just stop for pizza at pizza company on my way to MTB and bring the leftovers for Nicke, he is always hungry

Yes it is 8pm but hardly anyone shows up there until 9pm or later.
You have to pace yourself when its open until 2 30am or later.
Especially if there are a lot of mad BMs around and the bell is ringing

Nicke normally shows up around 9.30 - 10.00 pm but during high season you have to ask him..might be earlier...I agreed there are alot of crazy BMs around who love to ring the bell and an even crazier owner who will, out of the blue, dish out his infamous blackdeath or fisherman's drink!

I think I have been there at closing time. Not sure.
Also not sure what time closing time was. Couldn't read my watch, or forgot.
The only thing I am sure of is that I drank to much.

I am always the innocent asian guy..it is the farang guys who diligently teach me how to hold the rope connected to the bell and then how to move left to right so that sound can come out from it..of course after Nicke in his usual innocent voice ONE ONLY of black death, ONE ONLY of fisherman and then NOT ME! NOT ME! other BMs when the bell was rang.....who can resist the urge to follow the trend?

I also like the black death but I will never try to snoar it again. Hell my nose was a mess for a couple of hours. At least Gson had a laugh when he saw me doing it.
