is the any rules regarding the buying and owning of live stock ?

I only have livestock for companionship

on those long cold nights in Wales. If I was in LOS I'd probably get myself a BG instead, but don't tell my countrymen as they think this is a bit odd.

Sorry ETV can't help - anything in particular you have in mind? My guess is you can own the livestock, but not the ground on which they graze.
