Prices may not go up , but availabilty will definately go down. Looks like a very busy time.

and if availability goes down, prices go up.

Economics of Supply and Demand. As the cheap seats are sold, the price goes up.

There are no discounts at Christmas.

Yeah was wondering how you got on, I was planning a trip to South America around July/August but thats off now for a while.

But was thinking of maybe having a short 2/3wk trip to Phuket and either Angeles or Manilla at the end of July/Early August but prices are crazy, So I might give it a miss aswell unless the prices of flights come down.

Ally, why are you going at that specific time? Try a few weeks earlier, 'cos the time you stated is bang in the middle of school holidays here.

Wont have the funds any earlier, And cant go any later because of work commitments and because I will have to save up for a trip for Songkran.

Its complicated but I dont use a bank account (Long Story), I am in a credit Union were I hold savings, Then take a loan from them with my savings as insurance but have to pay off loan before I take another big one out again, Anyway if I go later it will clash with my Songkran trip.....
