Phuket Thailand

G'Day everyone, first off a little intro, my name is Wayne and I am from Sydney Australia.

I have been reading this forum for the past 3mtns, and have decided that it's time to say "Hello".
I find this forum informative and can get some useful info and insight for further trips and tips on TG's.
My experience with LOS goes along way back (1993), and mostly spent all my time in Phuket (Love the place).

I was in Phuket back in late Oct 05, and finally meet a nice TG from Khon Kaen. I meet her while she was working for her sister which runs a laundry. I do know that she did a little FL sometimes. I came back to see her several weeks later, and since got her to go back home to wait for me.
So far so good, as with any TG, I have been keeping checks on her and all seem genuine.

I'm return on the 30/1 to meet the family for a week. If all goes well, we'll be back early March and taking her to test out the new passport in Singapore and swing back via Phuket for a week.

Hopefully will have time to call into the MTB and say hello and meet Bm's over a drink.

To answer Crustasian comment, well I like fast cars, play Blackjack comps, and love Thai women.

As stated in my first post, I've got hold of a good TG at the moment, and meeting the parents in just under 8 day's away.

It's always a roller coaster ride with these TG's. I have picked up much needed insight on these TG's by reading posts on this forum, reading "Thailand Fever" and reading stickman's submissions.

These are a must for anyone new to LOS.

Wednesday??? Oh you mean Burns Night - I thought that was for the Scots. I'm planning on celebrating Thursday myself.

It's actually Thursday.....but hey it was close enough....Thursday's gunna be a bastard....they r tipping 40 degrees in Melb....which will be a bit better than the 43 we got last Sunday.

When I sit in the departure lounge I try to pick the guys going to Thailand for the same reason as me.

Not hard really.

It's the older gentlemen who are sittting quietly, maybe with a beer in their hand, and a big grin on their faces.

Sure, some callow youths are going as well, but they aren't the ones I am trying to spot.
