Smile Greetings to all of you

Hi there, best wishes to all bm's

I have been a viewer of this site for a couple of months and finally took the plunge and registered a couple of weeks ago. Did my first post a week ago so I thought that I had better introduce myself properly.

I am from Perth in Western Australia. My partner and myself love to travel and visited Phuket for the first time in September 05. We stayed in Patong, loved the place and the people. Made some great acquaintances and are looking forward to our next visit later this year.

Really enjoy this site, the mix of banter and practical information is a good thing.

Best regards to all of you.

DD, we stayed at Club Andaman in Patong, close enough to all the action without being right in the middle of it.

Smile Welcome Gloryfan

Welcome to the board.

At least you have direct flights from Perth to Phuket on some days.Keep an eye for special low season offers.Last year some Perth people got realy good deals with air flights and 10 day stay in good hotels.

Thanks for the info Crustasian. We usually go with SIA and had a good deal last year. Thai only fly direct in to Phuket, coming back you have to go via BKK

Being with my partner the location suited us as we like to walk to and from the shops, pubs and clubs etc. Also when I get a few hours to myself (which happens a few times) I can go out for a bit of fun and keep it distanced from where we are.

Which hotel does the BM own on Rat Rd? I might have to pop in next time I'm up there.

Its The Stoney Monday on Ratt Rd. You can PM Onlocation for the specifics. Kind of far from Bangla, but you can take a MB taxi for 20-40B
