Bar girl harresment
hiya guys/ gals
ive read an been told about the girls, i just wanted to know how bad are they? some of my mates say that they ask u for a drink, then they ask you to buy their friend a drink then they ask you to buy the mamasan a drink then ask you to ring the f**king the bell !!!!! he also said they are constantly hassling you for cash and wont leave you alone. i mean i love women to bits (dont we all) but i dunno if i could be doing with that kinda hassle every night yunno. some nights i just wanna chat and have a drink and a laugh with female company or maybe jus chill with the boys with out having to constantly pay out wads of hard earned cash. i was wondering are they really like this constantly or can u find nice looking women to go out on the piss with and have a laugh? and what do u do if you dont want to bother with the females that evening? stay in an hide?

Hey Slick,
The girls in the bars are there for a reason, to make money and meet guys. Some (the ones that are bar educated) do push VERY hard to buy drinks but again, that's one way tha they make money and they obviously want to get as much as possible. No different to women back in everyone's home country. You can also meet girls in the bar that are new, fresh or don't drink so have no problem NOT asking for a drink. I guess it's up to you with what you want and how you want to spend your money. Back in Oz at a nightclub I'd be paying around $10.00 bucks for a drink for a girl and sometimes more. That in exchange rates is 2 to 3 drinks for the girls in the bar. My advice, find a bar you like, find a girl you like and have a good time. If you sit in a bar and all the girls try to suck every drink out of you they can, then go to another bar. There are plenty of them here to check out and plenty of girls. You can also meet girls that work in massage, supermarket, optician etc. Just enjoy and buy them drinks, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than back home IN ANY COUNTRY. You'll have fun either way.... Enjoy the Ladies of Thailand.... (They are the best and that's why we live here or keep coming back)

hi slick i don,t think you will get hassled too much --
if you go to a bar with a girl in tow you won,t be asked for drinks by any other b/g,s but if you go alone or with mates they will ask ,just put your hand up and politely sat no, some guys get carried away when at a bar, and end up buying loads of drinks for the girls--in turn the girls dance on the podium and show thir knickers which gets the guys more exited and they buy even more drinks!! but if you don,t flash the cash you wont get any probs Last edited by andy50 : 28-01-2006 at 21:28.

I've bought drinks for BG's , their friends , the mamasan , and even BM's , I have rung more bells than Quasimodo , but it is always my choice .
If any of the BG's start hassling me for drinks, they get a very polite NO !!!, and they will have even less chance of getting one in the future. Once they know you are just out for a quiet beer or chat with your mates they will leave you alone. If later you decide on some "company" , smile , buy them a drink and take it from there. Remember it's your holiday , you do what you want , there are enough BG's around.

hey guys dont get me wrong...............
i will be enjoying my self big time, just wanted to know how to deal with these girls when i just wanna relax and chill out a bit. because 4 weeks of non stop f**king, a time will come when i wanna just chill and stuff. what i was wondering was, are they that pushy that you dont have a choice but to be hassled by them and how would they react when you say no ...... but as faulty towers said.... u do have a choice and its cool to say no, theyll understand. sorry if put my questions out a bit wrong but youll have to bear with me as i am a newbie  cheers to everyone for info so far, much appreciated

Don't worry about girls hustling for a drink or two.You are the customer and it is up to you if you want to buy a girl a drink.It is their job to get guys to spend a bit but you can relax and say no.They are not in your face insisting that you must.
If you like a lady then you buy her a drink for that reason  You never are forced to buy the bar a drink by ringing the bell - only if you want to

Hey Slick,
Over the many times I've been to Phuket with either myself or with a group of friends, there are BG's that are in your face. We found a bar which after the first 5 minutes realised that we just wanted a drink or 2,3 etc, and just people watch down Bangla. Once they get to know you, you won't have any problem, as they know that your there to have a drink and then move onto other activitiies. We have been returning to the same bar each trip, and had no problem's until last trip when they had a new owner. We finally found the old owner at a new location, and now go there. Plenty of these bars exsist, and the mamasan will just like you buy from them. As a loyal patron, and keep the flies (BG's) away if that's the intention. They are all happy to pump the grog into you, just keep an eye on the tab.
