Greetings BM's - its good to be back amongst other Patong / Phuket lovers in here! I see that IJ has been doing some major work while I've "been away" - my god man!

I've previously been a BM using a different nickname over the years (no, not Jazz or Jizz or Whizz or whatever

) but it seems to have been deleted following a lengthy absence away from here! If its important to anyone, I can let you know what it it was to try and put your minds at ease.

Why am I back here? April 2005 was my last Thailand visit, and I, personally, find the best way to avoid the post trip LOS blues is not to read, write or think anything Thailand for some time afterwards! Call it stupid, call it ignorant, I dont know, but how can one compare a holiday in LOS, Phuket in particular to your "normal life" back home. Doesnt rate - and probably never will i guess, and thats not to say I hate living at home, its just how great time in LOS actually is.

I digress, and still haven't got to the "why am I back on the forum" bit hey? I'm back because I have that itch, that insatiable urge that comes with ever increasing surges and force - that little voice in the back of my head that says- I WANT TO GO BACK TO PHUKET.....AND SOON....AND FOR A LONG TIME!

I havent got any new questions to ask just now. I dont have anything immediate to say........ just wanted to write my intro, say G'day and say to all and sundry......GOD, I MISS PHUKET!

PS - congratulations Dodger on making the move that is a dream of most on the board.......hope all goes well with everything and that leaving your lad at the airport wasn't as painful as you were imagining!

Welcome back to the forum.

Even if you cannot be here at least on this forum you can keep up to date with what is going on here in Phuket.

Aint that the truth....i really do enjoy reading about everyones experiences and different perspectives on what life in Patong is all about.....

I think I can ignore the blues if I stay away, but when i read this forum, its all about memories....golden memories and the future dream - somehow I dont think that I am alone in these dreams either, hey!

In any case, again, thanks for your warm welcome and I look forward to more involvement amongst the forum crew!

Not that we struck up a serious rapport or hatred or anything mate, but I have been a member as Dabozman and also UP2UNOTUP2ME (maybe just UP2U - something like that anyway) previously.
