Hey Marc26
I live about 4hrs north of vancouver, in Kelowna. What do you mean by a "temporary resident"??
I have been reading some posts in the members on tour section and laughing my ass off. There are some great stories, and a lot I can relate to. I look forward to meeting some of you guys on my next trip. Hopefully someone will show me the in's and out's of LOS.

Also a Canadian
And a newbie like yourself...east of the rockies though...although I am right now halfway through a can of Kokanee, which is brewed right near your neck of the woods.
The folks here provide tons of information, and are pretty damn funny too, eh. (ahem...) Althought I don't expect that many here follow hockey.
No doubt about it. (sorry, done now.)

Welcome to the board. It's a long way to go for a holiday, but it really is worth it as you know.I also did a month last November and it sounds like a long time but in reality it blew by quite fast.I guess it's never long enough.
What areas of Thailand have you visited already and when are you planning on returning to the Land of Smiles?
I'm from Ontario BTW or as I prefer to say...2 hours from Montreal

My choice of beer here in BC is Okanagan Springs 1516 "Bavarian Lager", second choice is Kokanee. Still havent found that sasquatch yet though!
As for my first trip to LOS, I stayed in Bankok for only 3 days. Then travelled to Hua Hin via the train. Then it was off to Samui and stayed in Lamai and Chewang. Au Nang was the next stop for a few days, and then Ko Phi-Phi. My final stop was the great island of Phuket. I spent a few nights in Kata and then made it to Patong.
I am planning to return hopefully this year, as I do miss it very much. Everytime I look at my pics and video it brings back great memories of the country, people I met, and expecally all the girls!!!
