Newbie Computer Problems

I've been trying to add a picture to my profile signature and I can't get it to work. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks,

I clicked on to this post to say almost exactly the same reply. It's all a question of size.

If it's an avatar pic, you will need to resize as has been said. It's a fairly simple process to upload pics, just a bit fiddly at first

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

I'm trying to upload my avatar, 90 x 90, 16.15 kb (see attachment), but keep getting an error: "Upload of file failed."

...any ideas??

Oh, well now it looks like it made it, despite the error message.

Sorry!!
