Hi In a recent thread Starfisher asked about meeting girls earlier in the day. I assume from that he meant in the afternoon etc.

I too would like some info on that but no-one responded that I could find. I am not much of a night owl and partying and dancing until 2:00am would find me asleep under one of the tables.

Sooo, what's the drill for meeting girls at say 6:00 or 7:00pm, have a few drinks, dinner then back to the boudoir for LT??

Does the early shift need stronger beer-goggles?

hi Dave,
if this is your 1st visit to LOS (apologies if i've misread you) you'll be overwhelmed by opportunities to meet girls - at the beach, on the street , in the supermarket, getting a massage, just about everywhere is coming down with cute, friendly women - this is without even having to set foot in a bar or disco.

Don't sweat it, lots of girls will want to continue to meet with you after spending time together - sometimes its more of a problem gently dissuading them, if you want to butterfly.

I don't wear the beer goggles and still find the gals wonderful, night or day. Not much into disco/late night scene either but never found this to be a difficulty. If you go LT the girl will stay with you for the whole evening and overnight so where you decide to go or what to do is entirely up to you.

Also age is not of such importance as back home and its quite acceptable to enjoy the girls company without being made to feel like a perv. Personally i tend to favour slightly older TG, over 30, say. They suit me better, tend to be more interesting with better language skills etc and retain their looks/bodies (30 and even 40 y/o often look like early 20's), whereas the younger ones can be a bit childish sometimes IMO, but like everything in LOS, up2u

play it by ear and remember you're in charge.

I am interested to hear about the 30+, might be a better ticket for me too. It had been suggested in another thread some time back but I poopooed the idea because I was comparing them to those age groups back here in the US.

no worries about 1st time tour, we were all newbies once - some might envy you the stunned delight in store when you finally get there and discover the hype is all true - you are in paradise (at least that's what it felt like to me - and a lot of others on the board it seems)

The age of your TG's is of course a matter of preference but rest assured you can set aside any comparison with falang women. TG's are famous for retaining their looks as they age and I consistently underestimated the ages of some by 10-15 or even more years when i first got there. Aside from the looks, the attitude of the women you meet is going to be vastly different from what you get in the US or Europe - delightful, i spent some time telling mates that every man deserved to experience such attention at least once in his life (some are fortunate enough to do it more often)

I've no moral or ethical qualms about the younger gals and never say never, its just i found the ones over 30 less dipsy and generally better company - could be just me of course, others will have different experiences to share maybe.

There's loads to see and do in this wonderful country apart from chasing TG but there's something truely magical knowing any night it's simply a matter of making yourself 1/2 way presentable, going out and you will be surrounded by beautiful, friendly, accessible and willing companionship. You're gonna have a ball

Welcome on board Dave. I agree with odysseus. its just more difficult not to feel like Bred Pitt over there. You will find nice ladies everywhere at any time of the day. Treat them good and you will be treated like a king.

It seems the 30-50 age group American woman's idea of a good night out is a few drinks then whine dine and whine again. LOL

I was hoping to be there later next week but some stuff needs attention here so that I can stay in LOS as long as the money lasts, so it now looks to be towards the end of the month.

Just a thought, but do you have any particular places you prefer to go for the "older woman?" Or are they competing with the 20-somethings in the mainstream bars?

Most bars have a full range from young cuties to older women.You will have no problems meeting nice mid thirties women.

hi Dave,

no particular bars in mind and as i say, on looks it's very difficult at times to tell their age.

1st night last tour I was walking after dinner just soaking it up and spotted someone i found interesting. Think i was drawn to her spex (my 1st wife wore glasses & i still find them a turn on).

Stopped for a drink, BF'ed her within 5 mins and had a lovely evening. I genuinely thought she was 25 or so, turned out she was 37 but fresh, beautiful, slender and very attentive - wonderful company.

I meet several girls at the beer bars, again i tended to gravitate to the over 30's. Also met women while walking on the street, at the beach and spent 2 weeks with a girl i met at a restaurant where she worked. This last wasn't p4p (overtly) but i was always conscious of the economic realities and slipped some baht in her bag some mornings, also a small gift when i was leaving. this was reciprocated with t-shirt for me and other handmade items for my mum and sister, not expensive by our terms but deeply appreciated, nevertheless.

As i say the problem isn't so much meeting beautiful gals but rather there being so many to choose from and only so much time/energy to go round

I haven't had a whole lot of luck with the daytime scene in Patong- IMHO, besides the fact that 90% of the BGs are asleep until 4, they seem to not consider themselves "on the clock" in the afternoon. I mentioned to a few girls what a great trade they could make walking along the beach in a thong taking afternoon short time, they couldn't really explain why noone tries that. Much rather be solicited by a lady on the beach than a leather wallet/belt tout. I'd say this is the main advantage of Pattaya over Patong, it seems to me that "it's on" 24-7 in Pattaya, whereas the girls in Patong are only "working" when in the bar.

But I ain't no Brad Pitt either.

day or night these girls are very friendly. strangest one i had was when i went out at about midday to buy some juice from a 7/11. girl in the shop said. "you so handsum...you look david beckham" haha david beckham im def not. anyway..she came back to my hotel that afternoon. its that easy!

Dave, I often wander around town all day by myself, dropping into shops and bars. I am over 50 and over weight and I still get approaches all the time. I am not looking but never a hassle even when I buy them drinks although I do make it clear up front that it stops there. I doubt if you will have any problems finding lovely women as long as you are breathing and have $$$.
