Introduction
Hi Lads,
Im a 29 year old single guy from Reading Uk who is seriously considering a holiday to Thailand. Im sure my questions will have been covered on numerous occasions so my apologies if this seems repetitive. Basically , Im quite a shy character and fairly rubbish with women and considering I would be travelling on my own I am slightly concerned about being on my own full stop but more importantly being 6,000 miles away from home watching all these hotties being chatted up by others  . I am hoping you lads will have some kind words of encouragement for me. I know this sounds mad but I want to travel to gain confidence and have always dreamt of the goregous Thai girls  . My second question is which resort is best ? or is it easy to visit them all. Maybe I am being foolish but I have a lot of debt so to do this is going to be a struggle with getting overtime and extra jobs, Im also joing the TA so the army cash will help but I am happy to really have a great year and reward myself with the perfect 2 week break but want my planning spot on. At the moment I have about £450 saved up and a further £150 when I am paid so how much would I need to live, eat and f*ck like a King for the two weeks ???  If I know the most in £ and how much I would need for a cheap accomadation , economy food and flights (ie still girls each night) I can plan the figure to save for. I am talking of going late september , earely october ? but really like I say the summary of the above is I want a two week shag fest so any advice would be appreciated ?cheers !

Can be done with care
600 pounds works out at about 42,000 Baht for a two week holiday. Or 3000 baht per day to cover everything.
 It is do able here but you will have keep an eye on the cash.What I used to do was if I had a big night then lay low the next day to get back on track.

I was on my own when I first travelled to Phuket but had a flippin good holiday (and I'm not exactly extrovert myself). I thought I'd just died and gone to heaven, believe me. As to resorts, I'd stick to Patong (about 45 mins drive from Phuket airport) if I were you, that's where the action is. If you need further info, drop me a PM and I'll try to answer your queries. See if you can move your trip back a little so that you can save some money. The more money that you have, the more fun that you will have.

It really depends on what you want to do mate.
If you can put your trip back a little and save its all good. The first time i went to Thailand i was on my own but i had prebooked hotel and flights so all the money i took with me was for usuall stuff (smokes, booze, The other pleasures we enjoy out there, Food) Ok booze is deffinatly the most expensive tho (depending on how you drink) You will have the time of your life on your own. There is soooooo much to do and if you want company then there will be a variety of girls to chose from. Your like me really, I am useless around women but in Thailand the girls are a world of there own. They do make you feel good and you wont get lonley. Relax and enjoy.
