June vs August

Hello,

just asling myself what is the better time for Phuket? Anyone got any info or experience in both month?

I think August is more crowded and the weather maybe better than June.
But it June i can get a flight which is 300 Euro cheaper. Is it worth to go in June and safe the money. I mean i will have a lot of nighlife. Is the difference with the number of tourist in June and August high. Or are in June almost the same numbers of tourists?

Thanks a lot for any info

Never been during low season but most BM's keep saying that the Low season is better in many ways. And the difference between going in June and August cant be that big weather wise. Not sure about that one tho.

I think you can expect some rain in both months. August is the month of the Italians.

I would say June..

1) very very slightly less chance of rain IMHO.. There will be some and June Aug is pretty much equal but I think June might be luckier as its early in the rainy season.

2) June is outside the Euro School summer holiday and Summer vacation periods from Euro Workers. Aug is slap in the middle when there is a small spike in the low season arrivals.

3) Your cheaper flight.

Hey guys,

i am really (positive) suprised. Such quick answers. What a great forum.

I think i will be there in June. For the money i save i can make a lot of party in bangla road.

But as someone here wrote. In August are the european summer holidays. So there are not more people in Phuket than in June??????

Because in June the european don't have regular holiday time.
