Just wanted to check in and say hi and say what a great forum .Have been checking out the posts for a few weeks and have found some useful stuff.
Am arriving in Patong on the 13th april my third trip since november this place really does get under your skin !. Thank god for the mid life crisis.
Am staying at Stoney Monday hopefully is a good choice .
Will check out Mai Thai and maybe meet some BM and have a beer

Welcome to the board Hoss , guess there will be a few Bonanza comments popping up.

In the "Accomodation and Transportation" forum there are BM's opinions of hotels, here is one about Stoney Monday.

Thanks for the replies and welcome everyone. My appetite has been well and truely wetted from what ive seen and read of Songkran on this forum .Looks like the stoney monday is good choice from what ive read so thanks for the info posted .
i think S1mon asked my location i live near Heathrow so pretty handy for flights find myself pining when the Thai 12.30 bangkok flight goes over.
Will be on it soon in more ways than one

I live about 20 minutes from Heathrow , and will be on the 14.00 Emirates flight on Thursday , so give it a wave as it passes over.
