Election again?!?!

What can i say... this is a fabulous forum... perfect therapy for relieving the LOS blues. Its been 2 mths since i last step into Patong. Listening to some thaidisco music from a website posted by a BM while typing this thread. Memories... ahh...

Wait... i'll be in patong 2 wks from now.. 55555 can't wait to enjoy the sun, the TGs, the beer...

Damn... juz remembered... i'll be flying in on 22nd apr... heard its election wk again in LOS... no more beer.. argh!!! Dear fellow BMs who were in patong during the last couple of wks... how did you guys endure the wkends without beer during the last election?

Guess beer or no beer... it'll be juz as fun when in LOS. Will try to stop by MTB to meet fellow BMs. See you all in 2 wks time. For those BMs in patong rite nw... have loads of fun during Songkran... its a pity i wun be able to make it...

Cheers

Cool Thanks Raydon

We will do our annual pub craw during songkhran and have a party.

Unfortunately there are more bar closing days on the horizon for more elections. There will always be somewhere to grab a beer.

With 27 bars being fined for opening "early" after the last round of elections, I'm sure the bar owners will be a bit more reluctant to open up until they are sure it's OK.

Faulty Towers was one of the bars fined , and it's up a side Soi , so the ones on the main streets have to be even more careful.

Talking Count Down....

sorry to hear that Faulty Towers was fined during the last election. Though i've never step into Faulty Towers, it sounds like an awfully great joint to have burgers from the forum. This time round i'll make sure Faulty Towers and MTB will be one of my main stops Will be there in less than 72 hours... counting down...

As it look now, I guess we close 22 April and open as normal on 23rd (20:00), but start selling alchohol around 22:00.

Yeah, I agree 3 elections in one month is too much.
