hi guys and gals,
have been reading your forums for a few days now,very informative. keep up the good work.
im headin back to patong on the 13th may ( my 2nd trip ) for ten days. im coming alone so ill definately be wanting to see everything i didnt see last time (had my girlfriend with me) . no doubt my first destination once i get booked in will be the mtb, wooo hooo, cant wait. mmmm singa .
i didnt really see much of the bangla area last time till a few days before we left.
i should of read your " accomadation/transport " forum before booking my hotel. im staying at the patong merlin, as i liked it last trip... i guess i can put up with the joiner fee, 5555. i dont mind the location as you get to see everything as you walk along the beach road.
im gonna need motorbike taxi or tuk tuk to get home every night though.5555
its all very good.
cant wait to see the crew at the mtb.

Sledge....how much will be the Joiner Fee?

Might be better off getting a "second" room at C&N for 800baht per nite....it's 3 mins walk from the top of Bangla.

Bet you this will be the last time you stay at Patong Merlin,

from what ive read mav, its 800 baht... i hope thats a one off, not every night, 5555.
and yes, ill have a look around when im there for alternitives. i just hope they treat my guests as they treat me or i wont be happy. no excuses for being rude....

It's 800B per night & I found they were not impressed; so I have afeeling that you won't be happy.
