Another newbie here. Just discovered this forum- what a great idea. Have been to LOS in 2002. I'm considering a trip to Phuket 2nd-3rd weeks of May (via Bkk for a visit to Eden Club!). But I read that its low season then and rainy weather every day in Phuket. How wet does it get? The humidity must be a killer. Are all the bars etc. quieter, ie fewer BG's working or is it business as usual? I will definitely visit MTB!!

Welcome to the Board.....l wouldn't let the weather put you off.....just do it.

MAY TENDS TO BE VERY WARM..YOU WONT SEE MUCH RAIN AND IF YOU DO IT WILL BE THE OCASIONALL SHOWER..
DONT LET THE WAETHER PUT YOU OFF.......

Hi Freddy,

Welcome on board - I was in Patong last week and I promise you - you will not regret it! If it rains or not, doesn't really matter. I had big plans when I was going down - I wanted to go diving etc. - but I actually never got up any earlier than 1pm...

Hi Freddy welcome to the board..Don´t worry about the weather to much.like IJ said May is very warm and i belve you will welcome the showers

....I will be there 3 weeks in May and i really like the Low season in LOS not crowded with tourist and still plenty of nice sexy BG´s around for you

Welcome freddy. Just go for it. I doubt you will get bored.
I never been there in low season myself but i heard guys tell that there are actually more girls then (per tourist).

Don't worry about the rains.In May there might be some but it won't disrupt your fun.The rain just freshens the place up and keeps the dust down.

I will be there in May And as its been said the rain can be a cool relief..it dont last to long..I always go at off season May and October and have found that there isnt the crowds and more than enough bgs to go around.all the bars are still open and have often been the only farang sitting there with 6 bgs buying for my attention come closing...

and when your 21 going on 50 like me what more could you want..also I have found June & July just as much fun IMHO..floppy
