Narai Hotel Bangkok

Hi, going back to Phuket (1st time Sept 2005) will arrive 25th of June 2006, question is,

I’m staying at http://www.bangkok.com/narai/ on the way home and don’t know BBK at all besides a six hour sleep over at the “airport hotel” that’s 20 minutes away n a shuttle bus.

I’ve done a search on here but it only came up in a of list suggestions with no comments.

I’m happy to stay there, actually not much choice, but how far away is it from anything?

All help appreciated.

P.S. I had to delete my first BM’s on tour (by choice). Too much info, but by that time most who were interested had read it.
Thanks.

Small time poster, big time lurker.

stayed at the narai on last trip, i booked the room with my universal bargirl partners name (that bg has sure stayed at some hotels now), so no problem bringing back a guest.with your agent say my girlfriend will be joining me in los.
took 2 girls from rainbow 4 at nana with me, no mention of joiner and no hassle.
about 15 minute walk to patpong, and taxi to cowboy or nana. 60 baht or thereabouts.
good pool, good brekkie, i did not take the bgs to brekkie though, lots of family groups and non naughty tourists. not a genuine mongers hotel.

Stayed there for 3 years in a row, at beginning and end of trips to Thailand. Decent hotel, can get a taxi there for less than 400bt from Airport if bus is too slow.
Pool is OK too.
One tip - if you are a NON Smoker, defintely get a Non Smoking room, Smoking Rooms / whole floor stinks.
Patpong - turn left out the door - 10 minute walk up main Silom Rd.
Also no problem with girls back to room.

Have a good trip
