 Welcome to the Board! I live in Lower Hutt, and have recently returned (one month ago) from my eighth trip to Thailand. (Fifth trip to Phuket). Previously, I have travelled extensively around Northern Thailand, spent some time in Pattaya on a couple of occasions, and also Koh Samui / Samet. Just spent two and a half weeks in Patong, and met a lot of Boardmembers, largely through this Site. Some, that I have communicated with via this Site, and now have met for the first time, and a couple whom I have met before on previous trips. I have spent a bit of time in Kata, but have never actually stayed there overnight. For me, Patong is where the action is ! Once again, welcome to this Board. Cheers Pdm3

thanx guys,i stay at the serene resort,cheap and clean,5 min to beach also.i live in the north island near taupo but have lived down south,toured there last year on m/c.will be in phuket from august4 till aug16 and cant bloody wait.spent 2 days in bangkok last trip but wasnt really impressed with the crowded pollution,love phuket.
