Phuket Thailand

Hi, in a couple of weeks I'm going to thailand and I'm really looking forward to it, I've got 5 days in Phuket and 4 days in Bangkok and from what I read I'm going to have a fun time.

I almost didn't choose Thailand as holiday, I was going to Aruba (or somewhere in the caribbean for a relaxing holiday) Although I would love to still go but it's mainly for couples and honeymooners. Lots of people I've talked to said Thailand is a amazing place. I've read the massages in Thailand are amazing, although I'm not into the "bar-fine scene" I would regret not getting a soapy massage. Also the nightclubs and the posher bars look very good places as places like this in the UK are expensive

I've done the research about the dodgy scams and I've done a bit travelling, so i should be ok.

Welcome to the forum Harsin.

When you are in Patong,just have a look in at Mai Thai Bar in Soi Eric and introduce yourself to Nicke and Ead. There should be plenty of BMs to have a chat with and enjoy a few beers and check out the "scenery"

Also a welcome to the board from me Harsin. I bet this holiday you will not forget. Thailand is an amazing and beautifull place. And what Dawsey allready said you have to go to the Mai Thai bar in Soi Eric and have a great time whit Nicke and Ead. Soi Eric is easy to find, it is just a side street of Bangla Road, where it all happens.

You are only not into the bar fine scene because you have never seen how it works in Thailand, i bet you pay a barfine on your first night there, the rest of us did

Just got myself a new digital camera with 1 gig SD card, so i should have plenty of space for pics which I'll upload if there any good.

once you've been to los you wont want to go anywhere else....and it wont be long before your back again....2 hours after landing back in the uk after my first trip i was on the web booking the flight back again.....6 trips within 18 months i reckon you can say i'm addicted........have fun and play safe....

Welcome Harsin you`ll have a fantastic trip guaranteed. I arrived back two weeks ago after my first trip, booked up again for November and thought why not, i`ll go again next week for another visit. Only thing is don`t make plans, they seem to go right out of the window once you`re there. enjoy your holiday.

Hi and welcome to the board. I remember my first trip to Thailand and i said i wasnt going to barfine a girl. That lasted to the second night

(!st night i was to drunk would have been wasted money). You will have a good time and look forward to reading your report.

Yeah i know that feeling. I was planning a trip out to Phuket this year and that has been put back now to next year because of getting laid of at work then having to start a new job. Still its well worth the wait
