My Introduction
Hi to everyone in this forum. I'm 23 yrs old, been living in Phuket for the last 7 months, doing visa runs once a month as some of you may have done yourselves once. I will be working in Phuket, hopefully sometime soon, if my application for a work permit goes through successfully. I have already been out and about in Phuket, done the bangla rd, banana and safari as i love to go out at night... I have been having a great time when my friends from overseas have come to visit and even when i've gone out solo. Been in MTB once only for a quick drink to check out the place, then went to my favourate watering hole, dragon, at the moment until i find a new one. And in reply to a thread posted a couple of weeks ago i think, the bar fine for dragon is an incredible 600bht and the girls there only go with you if you either a have a huge wallet of cash or b they just like you. (Please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong) A big wallet of cash i did not have but i managed to get a little lucky. Been living in Asia most of my life anyway so this whole scene isn't that new to me. However since i'm still a newbie in thailand and phuket, it would be nice to have some friends on the island. Friends have been difficult to find as i find myself largely picking up and talking to women (can ya blame me) when i'm out and when i do talk to other people they are generally tourists. Haven't met any local residents yet, i am hoping maybe this site will change that. Hope i will be able to make a good contribution to this site sooner or later. Until then, enjoy the sun, sand and the beach. Oh and of course the ladies and whatever else you enjoy doing.

 Not that I can help or advise at all but curious as to what sort of work you are looking for on the Island? And yes, I have searched for jobs there too..hehe

Where are you staying in Phuket? I have met some interesting people residing in Phuket now (no one from this forum yet).
Maybe when I get back into Phuket which is looking likely late June Early July (as I want to travel to a few places in Thailan first). I will introduce myself further E

I got a few questions, are you really 23 years old? where do you come from original? and how you made this, living in phuket for 7 months? (I mean the money not the visa)..  very interessting for me, because sometimes I would like to do that too...

Yes i really am 23... Maybe is sound so old because i just lived in many places as my parents used to move around a lot, however if you ever met me you'd think i'm younger than my age, as many people mistake me for being 18-20. Well and to live in Phuket for 7 months... Well thats a FAMILY secret...
Yes, my dad lives and works on the island so i don't have any rent to pay. And at the moment i still do visa runs once a month to singapore. Its kindda nice to get away and be in a real city from time to time as i'm more of a city person anyway, although i also do love the beach. My work permit is finally on its way, hopefully i should have it by July, which also means i will be able to print my business cards... Oh i work for my dad in his company in case some of you were wondering... What we do... Well i specialise in the hospitality field and my father is a lawyer. We represent the owner of the Dhara Dhevi in Chiang Mai and we will be putting together a hotel and some residential here in Phuket. Plus look out for the opening of our restaurant in July/August (depends on construction). Although the restaurant has no affiliation to the hotel what so every, it done privately by us. Hope that answers some of your questions
