Another Newbie Checks In
Hi all
Firstly, this is a great forum, Ive allready got stacks of tips and info, so thanks guys. Im from "sunny Belfast" Will be coming for my first trip this September. 4days BKK, (3days Hanoi 4days Saigon) back to Pattaya for (I hope) a week long fcuk fest, and then 5 days wind down fcuk fest in Patong! I have booked the Landmark for BKK as I want to spoil my self a bit, my other hotels are much cheaper, I read in a previous thread that it is GF, but has anyone stayed there and brought a girl back?? was there a joiner fee??, can I ask for a double bed?? can the girl stay for breakfast?? (if she wants!!)

Its good to see that you have done some reading... There are lots of good bits of advice on here for you. I cant tell you anything about the landmark tho never stayed there...... You will have a good time out there and i look forward to hearing your report All the best cybernator

Welcome.
The Landmark is GF providing you book a double room. You won't get asked about girls during the day (e.g. when you pop over the road for a nooner from the BierGarten, Soi7, but after about 9pm they station a guy at the desk near the only lifts. He has a list and your name will be checked if you arrive with a girl (or whatever...) in tow. If your resevation is single occupancy then you'll pay a joiner fee. He wil also take the girl's ID. Breakfasts: If you paid for a double room with breakfast then your companion should get fed along with you. Make sure you get this all clear when you check in. Cheers, K.

There is nothing quite so exciting as the first trip to LOS! I'm sure you know what to expect, having read this Board!But I know for me, it was even better than I coudl have imagined! Good luck! Let us know how it goes!!

Thanks guys for the welcome and the info about the Landmark.
No probs about hooking up Pad Mc, getting closer to the time I will detail more accurate info. I kinda want to hit BKK and go with flow so to speak, so I havnt actually confirmed hotels or anything just yet. Cant wait!!!
