Hi everyone_ great forum,
im not exactly sure if im posting this in the right section but here it goes..

me and a friend are going to be travelling to bangkok on the 28th july, where i have only two nights, from reading other threads on here was thinking of maybe staying at the majestic, dynasty inn or dynasty grande?

then have five nights in a villa in pattaya an was wondering if there is much else to do apart from the gogo bars?

After that we have six days left so decided to get down to ko-samui an
ko phangn for some beach life an partys but are unsure about the best way to travel, we were thinking about either flying or i heard of a night train which is a bit cheaper? as we are on a budget.
Thanks for your help Dave.

You are in the right place to say hello, so welcome to the board.

Can't help you with specifics but I'm sure that there are plenty here who can.

Cool Hi and welcome

Pattaya is pretty much bar and club scene.Quite frankly there is not much else on the go there unless you are afflicted with the golf urge.

You may find it a bit too "in your face" but you can always travel to Samui earlier.

Going by train may be cheaper but you still have the hassle of going from the train station to the ferry terminal and the ferry journey to Samui. Then you still need transport to your hotel.

By the way is your name an annagram?

Ok cheers cybernator,
im not sure if we'll have enough time to visit phuket this time as im hoping to get to Ko Phangan to catch the fullmoon party on the 9th aug.
But i've heard it's a great place will def visit next time .

We have a villa booked an paid for so am in Pattaya for the week, im sure we'll fin d someway of keeping our selfs entertained!
Yeah i think the plane to samui sounds like the best option.

My name's not really an annagram, well sort of.. i love the drums,
drum beats, and drum an bass music, my name is Dave so it's kind of a mixture of the two

thanks again
Dave
