Hi guy's ,I have been trying for months to get my photo next to my name.I do as the the edit photo says to do .I upload the photo from my doc's,it appears on the profile I press save changes ,all looks in order but it no show,
size is 65kb,jpeg,dem928 by 592.
I have been reading and searching for what I am doing wrong.
I am not the real geek at this .
is it about resize the photo ??? how to resize ??

I think avatars have to be 80x80 max.

You'll notice that very few BMs have their photo as avatar... this is due to the 'ugly filter' that is in operation

Coolhand's right - you have to shrink that sucker.

Microsoft have a power toy for Win XP that you can download:

This allows you to right click an image, or select and right-click several images, and perform basic image processing like resize and rotate (in thumbnail view) in explorer - no need to launch another app. just to shrink and post something to a forum.

Alternatively open the file in MS paint and the choose Image > Stretch/Skew and select a % reductions that gives you and 80x80 result (928->80 ~ 8%)

Thanks coolhand,tyfon for the responce ,hope it works for me .used the ms paint ,streach ,thing will keep trying if not .
maybe we see some mad bugger full noise, just doing what you do ,as a temperory australian

I think the limit has increased to 100x100 pixels.

yup:
