Hello everybody
Hi there!

I am planning to come out to Phuket next month for a week, Im really excited. It's my 21st so hopefully have an awesome time. Gokarts and ATVs look like heaps of fun I cant wait. Has anyone else here done any of the ATV (quad bike) tours in Phuket?

Welcome to the board Sach.
I havent done ATV for a while now but I have done it a couple of times during past years.
The ATV dirt track opposite Wat Chalong; it was a one nice to rally and compete against a friend. (I beat Jonas)
The ATV tack at Chalong shooting range; they take you to some various environments but is not so much for rally as you have to follow a leader that keeps the pace down. The plus is the different environments, and its not so bad especially for those never tried before. (Ead tried on this one)
The ATV forest track at the new go-kart track in Kathu; some rally in the forest. Was quite fun too. They also arrange mountain tour to the mountain behind Patong, stopped for a break at a monk living in a cave there and ending up at a open sand area. Was also fun.
But as for the latter one, I dont think they have many or any ATVs left since they broke down during the time and usage.
But there are many operators available on the island, these is just those I tried. We also have two go-kart tracks and one buggy track in Kathu. Have fun!

Hi Sach,
Welcome on board! Are you just living in Japan or are you Japanese? I don't think we see that many from Japan here... But they are very often mentioned as some big spenders!
Rgds,
Erik

Welcome to the board Sachi!!! 21st in Phuket huh??? WOW, you're gonna have a blast mate. Don't know anything about the go carts or the ATV's so just refer to Nicke's post. Been Bungy jumping here, was great. Although the owner of the place made a joke about the rope (bungy rope) being i forget whether it was 5 - 8 years old... Kindda scared me, jumped anyway, was amazing... I highly recommend it.
