I just had my first trip to Patong, and loved it. Big thanks to all you guys, I got alot of info from here berfore I went, Thanks alot. Im planning another trip, this time to Pattaya at the end of August, this time for a month..Quick question, has anyone ever stayed at the Jasmine hotel in Pattya, if so what are your thoughts, also should I by-pass Bangkok and go straight to Pattaya, or is Bangkok worth a look.....Again, I want to thank all you guys for you help

Bangkok is defiinately worth a look...a few nights...I think most BMs will agree...

There are many cultural things to see in Bangkok. Wat Po...with the huge reclining buddha, Wat Traimit, with the 5 1/2 ton solid gold buddha, The old Palace, Golden Mountain and many other things...

As for nightlife...well there is Patpong and soi Cowboy...but the boys here will be able to elaborate on the night life for you and where to go.

If It was me I wouldn't miss Bangkok.

Hi and welcome to the board.... Gotta agree with Marcia here you must spend at least a few days in Bangkok... You will regret it if you dont.. And for your hotel better using the search engine on here to find some info about it... Have a good time in Pattaya mate
