Future Trip and Questions
Hey Guys, Sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum. Seeing as i am a newbie and seeking advice this forum seemed the best bet. Anyways, Me and a few of the boys are planning on booking a holiday to Thailand for a month (4 weeks). This isthe sort of idea we have decided on:
Week 1 - Pattaya
Week 2 - Phuket
Week 3 - Any suggestions?!Bare in Mind we are looking for Parties, girls and beaches!
Week 4 - Bangkok
We are a group of 18yr olds.
Now on to the questions!
1. Would we be able to book into hotles,Motels (living accomodations) on the day we arrive, so if we do not like For example say Pattaya we can simply pack up our stuff and move on. If that makes any sense Also could anybody recommend any hotles that are reasonably cheap, we would be very greatful.
2. Could somebody recommend a destination for week 3 of my little escapade and possibly explain why?
3. Would we need to purchase a visa because we are staying over there for a month?
4. Also could somebody recommend any good go go bars, beer bars for picking up some hot naked freaks from Pattaya, Phuket, Bangkok?! etc.
I got loads more of questions but i can't think of any at the mo,
Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Looking to hear some peopels views on this proposed holiday!
Cheers in advance,
Welsh Warrior

hi w/warrior
accom costs depend on the time of year
you can arrive and book a hotel but it depends again on the time of year as to how full they are, search for hotels on google ,make sure they are girl friendly though
you get a visa free when u arrive for one month DON,T OVERSTAY!(u can extend for a cost)
all go go bars/street bars are stuffed full of top notch totty, you will have to beat them off with a stick
read through this site to get most answers ,or post again in this section , btw,im in patong/phuket at the moment and my nuts are now totally empty (and im probably older than ur father)!good luck

High season is from Nov -Feb and the hotels are at their dearest.
March and April are the hottest months,a lot of people still visit then,me included. May through to Oct is the low season,it tends to rain a lot more, but you can still have a great time. Many beaches however will be flying the red flag as during the monsoon season, the seas can have dangerous undercurrents.
If I were 18 again,Id go now

The later in Nov you can leave it the better. Last Nov was a terrible month with loads of rain, but its generally much better.
Have a look at the previous weather for Phuket here

Re your island hopping, Jonny is correct, taxi only really from BKK to Pattaya and that is 1.5hrs trip.
BangkokAir is the only airline to take you in and out of Koh Samui.
Website here
www.bangkokair.com.
BTW, Ask for opinions about your hotels before you book them. You can make expensive mistakes,ie no girls allowed
Just look at some of the websites at the top of the main page, check out the hotels you like and make a list. Search here under accommodation or BKK/Samui/ Pattaya and you may find reports about your choice of hotel. If not, just ask.
Its fun planning a first trip to LOS.

You can get a taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya then fly from pattaya (U-Tapo)to Koh Samui then on to Phuket all with www.Bangkokair.com as these are the only ones who fly to samui.
Then from Phuket to Bangkok you can use any of the following
www.airasia.com
www.nokair.com
www.thaiair.com
www.bangkokair.com
there is 1 more but cannot remeber it

I think Samui is only serviced by BKK air though Mr D..
So if it is Patts - Samui - Phuket - BKK the first three places (2 flights) need BKK air..
One hell of a tour there Look into when the full moon party is on Kho Phan Gan and try to be on Samui at that point.. Probably enjoy seeing it the once.. Will want a healthy budget for that tour I would think..
Personally I would cut down the BKK trip (3 or 4 days and I have enough of it.. I am just not so into the city) and keep Patts to a short leash also and have more time on Samui and Phuket.. Both places have a lot of charm for me. Really depends on how much your here for girls and gogo scene and how much for beaches and nightclubs scene..

Welcome to the Board.I agree with Thai Learner.I think you will enjoy Chaweng and Lamaii beaches in Samuii more than the other places as you are young and your budget probably tighter. So in Samuii and its neihbouring island you have much more opportunity to bonk falang (read western and read "free") women than Thai ladies ( read sweet but read "1,ooo baht minimum). However, I always feel the accom in Samuii is a bit pricier, especially in Chaweng, than Phuket and certainly Pattaya.I think the beach in Pats sucks but.In Bangkok , you can try the Rajah on Soi 4 close to the infamous Nana Plaza at 800 baht a night. It doesnt charge extra if you bring a "visitor" (read lady, ie bar girl) back , something you should ALWAYS find out when booking!!!As has been said already, prices depend on the season with the peak around xmas (MAI CHOB, read me not like)

Yeah, realised that LL. Just adding to the list of carriers from BKK-HKT.
That is some monopoly to have with BKKair being the only airline to fly in and out of Samui. Only in Thaland eh?
