Hi, all. I’m brand new to the forum and even though I just discovered it yesterday, I already love it. I am a 28 year old white male from California, 6’1” 195 lbs. I will be visiting the beautiful LOS for 4 nights around the end of October. It will be my first visit. I am traveling by myself and was wondering how safe it is for lone travelers in Phuket. I intend to see a couple of sights, relax on the beach, play a little golf and have a few beers. I wouldn’t mind the company of a pretty girl at my side to show me around town and provide a little companionship. I am going to try very hard to maintain my budget for the 4 days at about 27,000b. I was thinking that a LT would be the way to go if I find the right girl, but how exactly does that work. I have done a little research and found that she will spend the night at my hotel, but when would she leave and when would I meet up with her again? Can I trust them in my room? If I pay her for the first night, will she expect the same every night even if we go to restaurants and I buy her a gifts during my visit? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Perfectly safe by yourself merc,

Just search and read up on the odd things like transport from the airport, girl friendly hotels etc, Im sure there will be a few BM's to meet up with at MTB or other bars for a drink.

If you do pick up a girl for the night and you like her the next morning just ask her if she would like to spend the day with you. If she likes you she will give you big kiss a smile and say right we go shopping, 555. Yes some will still expect some money in their pocket too and maybe visit thier bar every night for you to pay the bar fine.

Try to get a little more money for your budget. Playing golf on a few days and doing some tours will cut into your nightime money and you might not be able to afford a lady or lots of drinks at night.

You ask her if she wants to go LT, if she says yes, then you are set. 1000 to 3000 baht depending upon what she looks like and where she works. If she leaves early, then she gets 1/2 of what you agreed upon. Bargirls (BG's) usually get less that go go dancers.

If she wants to stay with you she will probably only go home for some fresh clothes and come right back. Get her cell phone number. Also if you like her and want her to stay with you tell her that.

Can I trust them in my room?

Just use the in room safe if your room has one and keep all of your valuables in there(passport, airline ticket, money, camera, etc.). If your room does not have a safe they will have one at the reception desk. BG's are usually more trustworthy than Freelancers FL's because you know where they work and should be able to find them.

She might tell you that she does not want any money as you are a young and handsum man but put it in her purse anyway.

Have fun. The more money you have to spend the more fun that you will have.

hi merc75,yea all your worries are covered by threads,i've always given the girls a little more than what we agreed and found that they are all over you then and you'll have ball.Watch out for those long black haired,tanned girls with brown eyes and looks to kill for. "oh oh 4 days first time simply not long enough" have fun
