Good Breakfast in Patong or Karon Area
Hi Gents!
I have never been a huge breakfast fan. Well, i like to have a decent brekkie but as im just a lazy sob i cant be arsed to take my time to have a breakfast in the morning and rather sleep another half an hour in the morning before heading out to work.
Well as my holidays are finally here and i will have loads of time to power up for the day i wonder where someone can have a decent breakfast in Patong or Karon area?
thanks for all the tipps.
cheers,
chris

I'm sure others will have some great suggestions, but in the Patong area I like chez Bernard on the beach - very good bacon omlette! In Karon, the Hungy Corner (?) near the south end of Karon beach has been pretty good in the past (but sometimes you have to tell them to make the bacon crispy if you like it that way...). The best thing about breakfast in Phuket is that you can order it all day long, so even if you wake up after lunch you can still have breakfast!
Cheers, Robaht

What sort of tucker do you like for breakfast Chris?
Is it Austrian fayre or the old gutbuster fry-up,UK style
The Islander used to do a great cooked breakfast, but according to some BMs has gone downhill of late.I suppose the BMs living there now can advise you better.

Over in Karon you could try Karon Cafe: from 6:30am until 1:00pm, buffet style, for about 125 baht. The Irish pub has their Big Bhoyo breakfast from about 10:00am on - never tried it, but I'm told it's a gutbuster. Also recommend Sabai Sabai in Patong, just off the beach road on what used to be called Soi Post Office. Joy's Cafe in Aroonsom Square alo used to be good bt haven't beeen there for a while so can't say if it's still as good.

I think No. 6 and Chez Bernard are the same place....it is right on the beach, one of the few restaurants on the beach side of Patong beach road.

Offshore Bar on NaiNai Road does an all day Full English Breakfast that is pretty good.
Not often up in time for a Patong breakfast - other options are Summer Breeze (not tried breakfast yet but other BM's and Hashers have and said good things) and then if up later 2pm the the Faulty Burger at Faulty Towers will certainly fill anyone.
