Traveling help
Hi, I have posted only a few times on the board but I am a keen reader of the board and know that all BM's have great knowledge off all aspects of Thailand...
I am not being lazy but short on time and I have conducted some research myself but not got far... (finding it hard for specific info) Me and two mates are embarking on a round the world trip in october, starting in Thailand for 5 weeks. We land in bangkok and are planning to visit ko samet (via pattaya) and then make our way to phuket to see Phi Phi and Krabi etc... Has anyone done this route before? any tips? Was thinking of getting a taxi to pattaya and then fly to phuket before flying back to bangkok. Not to sure on prices, especially taxi to pattaya and flying to phuket. Sorry for all the questions, any help would be ace or a point in the right direction. Cheers, Matt

I think a better route would be Bangkok to Phuket, back to BKK then from there down to pattaya for your time there. Or the other way around.
Flights are cheaper/more regular from BKK, while you are there look for One 2 Go travel, my flight was under 2000 baht with them. Bangkok -> Pattaya by taxi is 1200-2000 one way though cheaper on the way back.
