Short introduction
Hey All
I just wanted to introduce myself shortly to you. I have been reading this forum for quite some time now.
Really great infos here for us newbies.
I just booked for my first trip to Thailand. I will arrive at the 18th November and will stay a couple of days in Patong. Then I will go on a liveaboard for some days and afterwards come back to Patong till 2nd December.
I tried to book a room in the summerbreeze hotel, but unfortunately everything is already fully booked.
So I will try Ferb Guesthouse or Orchid Residence (anybody been there lately and would like to comment on those two?).
At the moment I am staying in Indonesia, so I will come directly via KL to Phuket. Which means I have no time to have a look at Bangkok, but there will be other trips!!
I am looking forward to meeting you at MTB and have a few beers with you.
Cheers

Hi and welcome to the board.
I can vouch for FERB guesthouse, I know the owner pretty well and it's a short walking distance to Bangla road too. Its a new place so everything is fresh and new.

Its located on the road to the fresh food market (Nanai), just behind Jungceylon complex. So you walk throught sansabai and its a few minutes more further on. Yes, it belongs to nanai road.
