hi my name is bungchow, 28 from sydney. Iv been thinking about a trip back to Patong for a while now, and with the coup i figured this was my chance for cheap flights e.t.c. But no dice, xmas is bloody expensive as usual. Anyway, i ended up booking a flight for Dec 20th and im staying at the Expat hotel til Jan 17th. Seeing as none of the boys can go this time, im gonna go solo, i figured id look to see if i could find any like minded individuals and found this great site. So i'l be there for 4wks, would love to catch up with any other BM's for some random debauchery if anyone is interested. Hope to see some of you guys soon.

Welcome to the board! there will be a lot of BM's around x-mas and new years. just go to mtb and you'll meet a lot of people from the board.

Welcome to the board bung.

You will have a blast with 27 days in LOS... On your own is a good move too!

I stayed at the expat for 2 weeks just last month... It basic enough, but OK if your not too fussy. Its got a great Pool, really laid back staff, Guest friendly, Cheap and a really good location...

I am hopefully going to be out there again sometime in Jan/feb 07...

You won't be solo for long.That time of year we have a heap of Hash runs and parties on the go in Soi Sunset.

thanks all, i'l make sure to stop by and say g'day. I'v booked a room at the expat, but i might have a look around for something else after a week or 2, i was hoping for something a little more than basic. I'l pack my hash mug, the last run i did actually was in penang in about 1990, so its about time it had the dust blown off it!
