Hello all,
I just found this forum yesterday and I have already found it very usefull. I will be in Karon from 15 - 20 JAN. I will be staying at the GF Pacific Club.Very short stay but what the hell since I can't go on vacation again until St Paddy's day. I currently live in Japan but have also lived in Korea. Well just wanted to make a quick intro and ask if anyone will be in the area at the same time or knows of a good dive company that does day trips.

Sea Bees is one I reccomend.

Do a search as Nelsonone has mentioned a few and Nicke, the owner of the website and also Mai Thai Bar, knows a few good ones also.

welcome to the board.
the dive club i use is Diving Phuket Scuba Club Thailand - PADI courses and Liveaboard scuba diving


based in Kata beach, but i believe they also have a second shop open during high season in Karon.

Great bunch of characters and high quality enterprise. Speak to Chantal or Kevan and tell them Ken sends his regards from Ireland and see them all next year.

I'd also highly recommend Phuket Scuba Club. Not real close to Pacific Club, but well worth the tuk tuk fare. Kevan and Chantal run a very professional and friendly business and are possibly the best I've come across in many years of diving.
